Chang'an Still

Ancient China's Xi'an was called Chang'an Xi'an. In the Chang'an Still Illustration Series, designers envision the reappearance of the scenes recalling the stories that happened in the magical land in ancient times. Look at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the distance, feel the city that never sleeps at night, see the magnificent Daming Palace, see the ancient city wall with a sense of story, and there are so many scenic spots people can't wait to see. The illustration series is filled with the infinite charm of Xi'an.

Italian Capital of Culture 2023

One logo shared by two different cities (Bergamo and Brescia, united as year 2023 Italian Capital of Culture) inspired to the pop culture and designed to evolve during time. The whole geometry is based on bending of linear elements with constant thickness, inspired by the construction rods for which the two cities are well known, with the aim of overturning a stereotype of industrial cities and celebrate their resiliance during the first covid-19 surge. The iconic red element not only is a 3 and a B at the same time, but also can acquire different meanings and shapes in different contexts.

Hexagram

The concept of the Hexagram is expressed in the visual language by combining the hexagram and the five seasons and six stars observation method with the modern design language. The sixty-four diagrams produced by the hexagram are presented in the form of geometric lines to visually convey their connotation and give modern significance and ideas to the hexagram. Through the standardized design of traditional talismans and the association with the divinatory symbols, the changes in the elements of yin and yang will form a new expression of the divinatory symbols.

The theme of the work is selected from the glorious history of China's textile industry system from scratch to prosperity, aiming to sort out the development process and characteristics of China's textile industry through information visualization and feel the vitality of China's textile industry. The disordered and complicated information is transformed, deconstructed, and organized by using reasonable visualization methods to guide the viewer to the main information, forming a meaningful and easily understood and disseminated information hierarchy.

The challenge was creating an identity matching a premium, elegant, modern logo that depicts its elevated position in the digital market. The logo approval came directly from the agency directors, putting the brand into use immediately.

Unajiro

It is created the visual identity of Eel Jiro, created logos, and design them in total, from decorations to goodwill and lanterns; from chopstick bags to aprons. They were particular about the recycling mark of the chopstick bag. It is an acronym for U in Japanese katakana, U in hiragana, Umai which means delicious, and an acronym for eel. Visual identity is Japanese craftsman-like design. It wanted to put importance on the Japanese style. The prosperous business on the front cover is a wish that business will go well.
