Visual/Senses

This exhibition catalogue not only captures with tenderness the texture of decorative elements of traditional Chinese temples in glorious black and white, but also the scent of a temple. It is printed with special aroma ink to recreate the atmosphere of a temple. Through visual lens, the forgotten, the ordinary and the archaic are given stature in this catalogue. It invites readers to take a second look at the overlooked and be engaged through the senses of sight and smell as memories are evoked; new possibilities are imagined and personal connections are explored.

Pulse Pavilion

The Pulse Pavilion is an interactive installation that unites light, colours, movement and sound in a multisensory experience. On the outside it is a simple black box, but stepping in, one is immersed in the illusion that the led lights, pulsing sound and vibrant graphics create together. The colourful exhibition identity is created in the spirit of the pavilion, using the graphics from the inside of the pavilion and a custom designed font.

Kaleido Mall

The Kaleido Mall provides numerous entertainment venues, including shopping mall, a pedestrian street, and an esplanade. In this design, the designers used patterns of a kaleidoscope, with loose, colored objects such as beads or pebbles. Kaleidoscope is derived from the Ancient Greek kalos (beautiful, beauty) and eidos (that which is seen). Consequently, diverse patterns reflect various services. Forms change constantly, demonstrating that the Mall strives to surprise and fascinate visitors.

Nissan integrated all of its state-of-art technologies and wisdom, interior materials of superb quality and the art of Japanese craftsmanship (“MONOZUKURI” in Japanese) to create a luxury sedan of unmatched quality - the new CIMA, Nissan’s lone flagship. This brochure is designed not only to show the product features of CIMA, but also to get across to the audience Nissan’s confidence and pride in its craftsmanship.

kt wiz baseball team

A unique visual identity for kt wiz (Abbrev. for wizards), the new professional baseball team launched by kt (Korea Telecom) in winter 2013 was designed. To encourage a strong connection with the brand, regional traits are incorporated in the design details along with the unique concept; 'burst of magic' that sets the brand apart from the others. The theme is effectively expressed throughout different media platforms for a solid and consistent visual identity.

Calendar 2014 “Safari”

Safari is a paper-craft animal calendar. Remove and assemble the 6 sheets with 2 monthly calendars on the sides. Fold the body and the joint sections along the creases, look at the marks on the joints, and fit together as shown. Quality designs have the power to modify space and transform the minds of its users. They offer comfort of seeing, holding and using. They are imbued with lightness and an element of surprise, enriching space. Our original products are designed using the concept of Life with Design.
